SUGGESTED QUESTIONS TO ASK YOUR DOCTOR
Obtaining a medical release is important when it comes to prenatal exercise. There are many factors that are in play when it comes to optimal safety of mama and baby(S). Obtain clearance from a physician before you start any exercise program. Here are some proposed questions to ask your doctor upon your next visit.

Do you I have any exercise restrictions, ie movements or positions?

Do I have any heart rate, blood pressure or other physiological restrictions?

Are there any special conditions I should be aware of? Am I at risk for developing any?

Are there any specific warning signs to stop exercise? *I do go over some of these, but always confirm with your physician if these hold true to YOU and if you have any specific guidelines.*

For me personally, what are things I should watch out for when engaging in exercise?

Are there any positions I should avoid?
There are always more things you'll want and need to ask your doctor, but these six items are a great start.
